Today you will get the opportunity to see two imperial cities (Meknes and Fes). Wake up early in the morning to take photographs in the streets with less people than usual, then go for Fes. The Roman Empire made Mauritania's capital, established in the third century BC, a major arena, packed with structures and magnificent effects. The structure is imperfect, yet it is still fun to explore.
Continue your journey to Meknes, your second imperial city. Visit the Bab El-Mansour Gate, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and the Royal Stables. Later in the day, the day departs for Fes. Spend the night in the nicest Riad in town.
Fes, the oldest of Morocco's four imperial towns, may be the most interesting to visit.
