Tour Plan

Your Moroccan adventure begins in the captivating city of Tangier. Upon your arrival at the port, airport, or your chosen accommodation, you'll be greeted by your knowledgeable tour guide. From Tangier, you'll embark on a scenic journey to Chefchaouen via Tetouan, where you'll be treated to picturesque views along the way. Once you arrive in Chefchaouen, the renowned Blue City, the real magic unfolds. Begin your exploration in Plaza Outa el-Hammam, the main square, and immerse yourself in the local culture. This square gets its name from the numerous hammams, or public baths, that once surrounded it. Savor a refreshing mint tea at a local restaurant while taking in the spectacular panoramic views. As you wander through the city's enchanting blue-painted streets, don't forget to capture the fantastic and romantic moments with your camera. After a day filled with the charm of Chefchaouen, your journey continues to the imperial city of Fes, where even more Moroccan wonders await.

Today's journey will take you through a diverse and exciting range of Moroccan landscapes. You'll start your day early, heading southeast towards the incredible destination of Merzouga. Along the way, you'll make fascinating stops. Begin with Ifrane, a charming city often referred to as the "Little Switzerland of Morocco." Take some time to explore the city and its unique atmosphere before continuing your adventure.

Next, you'll visit the Cedar forest of Azrou, where you'll have the chance to meet the Berber apes and capture some lovely photos amidst this natural wonder. As you continue your journey, you'll pass through the Tizi n’Talremt, a part of the Little Atlas Mountains. Your lunch break will be in Midelt, a great opportunity to savor some regional flavors and rest in charming surroundings.

The road then takes you over the Ziz valley, where you'll encounter the second-largest palm grove in all of Morocco. This is a moment where you'll distinctly notice the shift in the atmosphere and landscape as you edge closer to the Saharan region. Your arrival in Erfoud, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert, is marked by the desert's unique character and the city's association with fossils. Here, you'll have the chance to visit local workshops and gain insight into the fascinating process of converting fossils into decorative pieces.

From Erfoud, your journey continues to the magnificent Erg Chebbi, home to the towering sand dunes that have come to define the Sahara. Here, you'll transition from your 4x4 vehicle to a more traditional mode of desert travel – a private camel ride, with one camel per person. Embark on a unique excursion around the desert led by an experienced camel guide, who will provide you with valuable tips and insight. As you traverse the desert on camelback, you'll have the chance to enjoy the stunning sand dunes and witness a breathtaking sunset.

Your destination for the night is a luxury desert camp, where you'll be treated to a delicious dinner served in the heart of the desert. Afterward, you'll have the opportunity to engage with the participants of the Sahara music, an authentic and cultural experience. Finally, your day concludes with a night's rest in a tent beneath the dazzling stars of the Sahara.

Catch the sunrise early in the morning at the highest point of the Merzouga Sahara desert before taking on the sand dune. It's time to return to your desert tent for a quick wash and breakfast. Leave Rissani toward the Todra gorges, stopping at the small traditional souk (market). Along the trip, you'll pass through various Berber villages.

When you get in Oasis, you will have a fantastic view of Tinghir.

Continue to the Todra River, which is surrounded by about 1000 feet (305 m) of Red Rocks. You may be able to observe climbers on those rocks. Spend your leisure time walking under the 305m rock, relaxing and doing your own constructive tasks. or just gaze down into the cold waters of the small river below. Leave for the Dades gorges for the night.

Proceed with your exclusive journey to your ultimate goal by traversing the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs and arriving in Ouarzazate to pay a visit to the Film Atlas Studio. Choose your favorite movie. Continue on to Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco's most renowned kasbah (fortification). The Kasbah is a set of clay houses encircled by high walls that represents a classic pre-Saharan habitat (UNESCO World Heritage site). You will have free time to explore the whole region and capture beautiful photographs. Lunch will be provided.

Prepare for an exciting journey over the High Atlas Mountains, 2,260 meters above sea level and situated on the route between Marrakech and Ouarzazate. Take in the magnificent scenery and mood.
