Tour Plan

The first day of your 9-day Morocco tour begins in Tangier. We will pick you up from your hotel, the airport, or the port in Tangier. Known as "the bride of the north" as well. The city is situated northwest of Cape Spartel, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean.

First, we will tour the lovely city, the Hercules Cave, and Cape Spartel. Lunch is on the house. Then we go inland to Chefchaouen, passing via Tetouan and the Rif mountains. There will be stops for panoramic views. Stay at a hotel in Chefchaouen for the night.

Once you've enjoyed breakfast, take the opportunity to freely explore the charming lanes of Chefchaouen. Following this, our journey continues to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is meticulously preserved, showcasing several exquisite mosaics, old pillars, and archways that provide a fascinating glimpse into history.

After immersing yourself in the remnants of Volubilis, we travel approximately 30 kilometers to reach one of the imperial towns, Meknes, the Ismaili capital. Here, our exploration unfolds with visits to key landmarks, including Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.

The next destination on our journey is Fes, where you'll be accommodated in a traditional Riad for the night. Relax and unwind in the unique ambiance of the Riad, preparing for the adventures that await in Fes the following day.

Your day in Fes begins with a pickup from your accommodation after breakfast, and you're in for an immersive exploration of this remarkable city. Fes holds a special place as one of Morocco's imperial cities and stands as a significant hub of culture and religion.

The adventure commences with a visit to the Royal Palace gate, offering you a glimpse of the city's grandeur. Following this, you'll enter the well-preserved medieval Medina, which proudly holds its place on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The iconic Blue Gate, known as Bab Boujloud, marks your entry into the old Medina, where a local guide will be your companion on this journey of discovery.

Within the Medina, you'll encounter several essential sites, including the Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, and the Tanneries, each reflecting the city's rich history and craftsmanship. Your tour culminates with a visit to the Quaraouin mosque and university, an institution that boasts the title of being the world's oldest university.

Leaving the Medina behind, you'll venture into the Jewish quarter, often referred to as "the Mellah," offering a glimpse into Fes's diverse cultural fabric. The day's explorations conclude with a drive to an ancient fortress, where you'll be treated to panoramic views of the Medina and the city of Fes, providing you with a captivating perspective of this imperial city. You'll then return to your Riad, having delved deep into the heart of Fes's cultural and historical treasures.

The 9-day Sahara Morocco tour continues south via Imouzzer after breakfast. To go to Ifrane, which is noted for its cold temperatures, snow, and alpine-style architectural residences.
