One Week In Morocco from Casablanca to Marrakech

After a delightful breakfast, take some time to explore the charming blue-painted streets of Chefchaouen at your own pace. Later, we will depart to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. This archaeological site is remarkably well-preserved and holds the prestigious title of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Following your exploration of Volubilis, we will continue our journey and travel 30 kilometers to reach Meknes, known as the Ismaili capital and one of Morocco's imperial cities. In Meknes, we'll visit some of its prominent attractions, including Bab Al-Mansour, the grandiose Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, and the historic granary. Our tour will also take us to the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, offering insights into Morocco's cultural and historical heritage.

As we press on towards Merzouga, the route leads us through the breathtaking Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and offers spectacular panoramic vistas along the Ziz valley. Upon reaching Merzouga in the afternoon, it's time for a unique experience. You'll switch to camels and traverse the sandy expanse of the Sahara Desert. A stop at the summit of a lofty dune affords you the chance to witness the mesmerizing sunset over the desert landscape.

Finally, we arrive at our desert camp, which combines the traditional tents of nomadic Berbers with the comforts of a luxury hotel.
